Default Guild Wars 2

After reading the Guild Wars 2 Wiki, http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2 , I found something I didn't know. I may be a bit late reading this information, but it's something I think that would be a good discussion.

Character Development:

Quote:
There will be a single character system, a character will not have a type like at present. A single character can be used for any of the three types of game play; PvE, World PvP and Structured PvP.

The level cap of 20 will be raised, no maximum level has been given and it has been suggested that there may be no maximum. The exact implementation has not been announced and is the subject of speculation in the community as it is not clear how this will affect gameplay such as area design and game balance. There has been mention of a side-kick system when a higher level character will enhance a lower level companions abilities, although there are few concrete details available about this system.
World PvP sounds amazing. "It will be on a larger scale than the original Guild Wars PvP with large battles which could take place over a long period with people coming and going." Pretty much sums it up. I'm excited for this feature. It's about time, eh?

What do you think about the level cap being raised? What would YOU like it to be raised to? Will characters be overpowered? It's just a select few things you can wonder about. Maybe you gain the maximum attribute points, but can level higher and higher for the heck of it..

Character Controls:

Quote:
Guild Wars 2 will introduce a Z-axis to the game which will allow characters to jump over obstacles. Actions which have characters interacting with the environment, such as sliding, climbing trees and swimming will also be introduced.
This sounds amazing to me. Climbing trees and swimming to be exact. I wonder what type of environment Guild Wars 2 will provide. Maybe be able to explore almost anywhere? Lets hope so. I also read you can jump. Next thing you know they'll introduce ridable creatures.. like WoW. lol. Heck I wouldn't care, that would be awesome.

Sorry if you already heard of this, I thought it would be a good discussion and some people might not be aware on how amazing Guild Wars 2 will be.

It may well be amazing like GW1, but are they gonna make a GW3 a few years later, because GW2 cant handle more than 250 mini pets, or wont let you do a triple job! Then everyone starts all over again... great

Hope they stick with this one for awhile this time...

The three main points mentioned above (larger pvp, higher level cap, and a z-axis) already exist. The downside: they're in a faraway land known as Alterac Valley.

Perhaps you would derive more enjoyment from WoW. I'm not encouraging you to leave GW...but if those kinds of gameplay ideas get you excited, it might be worth your time to check out.

Why is this moved here?
I'm not asking questions.
I'm not looking for answers.
I'm discussing the game itself.
LOL. I'll post it again in the Game Discussion section later.

Close if you like.
